Summary: Following the defeat of the Black Arms, everyone just wants to get their lives back to normal. Unfortunately, there are old grudges to be settled and new plans are put into action. Everyone seems to be hiding their true intentions. New threats sprout up all over the place. Suddenly the war against the Black Arms seems like a happy memory. At least Sonic and co. knew who was on who's side. Now they can't trust anyone.

Summary: Essentially the timeless classic Picture of Dorian Gray, only with a bit of a twist, featuring Sonic as Dorian, Shadow as Basil and Mephiles as Henry. Be prepared to see other cameos as well, in addition to a slight departure from the original plot.
Captivated by his own portrait, Sonic the Hedgehog sells his soul for eternal youth and beauty. Influenced by his friend (and slight sociopath) Mephiles the Dark, Sonic indulges in a life of sin, desire and passion in private, while remaining a perfect gentleman in public. As he sinks into this corrupt double life, only his portrait bears traces of his debauchery, age and cruelty while he remains young and beautiful and indifferent to the suffering he is causing around him, particularly to the artist of his very portrait, Shadow the Hedgehog.
