Fanfiction ChallengeAfter much debating with myself and my tablet, I have come to the decision of hosting a competition exclusively made for the writers of this site. In a desperated call for well written fanfiction.
The aim is simple - to write a story based on this
fan art. This scene can be anywhere in the story. It can be at the beggining with a story explaining what happens next, at the end or near the end, or even in the middle, however, it must be included in the story. It is very important that Shadow approach Sonic as shown in the picture. It does not necessarily need to be their first approach romantically talking.
The picture was born from a song, if it may help you on writing your stories, grab it from
here, even if the tune is a bit over corny for our hedgehogs, the meaning of it isn't that so and could give you some ideas.
Judging will be based on originality, atmosphere, creativity and plot deepness, limes or lemons aren't necesarily the way to win but will be taken in consideration if they are very well writen and have a good flow within the storyline. AU is welcome, but extreme OOC isn't, try to stick to their usual personalities, though there really aren't limits, just don't overdo certain stuff as angst from either of them. Also, other Sonic Universe characters are welcome, fan characters are allowed too.
The lenght of the fanfic will be as much as you can give in three months, you can go with one shots, but more chapters the more chances to win.
As in every contest I've hold, there is always a time extention for those who need it.

Judging and winners announcent depends on how many entries there are. I'm a fast reader ;D

There'll be three places, I really wish people actually enter this contest, so I'll be giving my best for what may cook on your brains.
1st Prize: A fullbody
commission-like picture of anything you want.
2nd AND 3rd Prize: A halfbody
commission-like picture of anything you want.
