Chapter 2 the bus, (there is no chapter one and there never will be so get over it PS. Shadow got promoted to fighter and Silver is an assist trophy)
9:50 am late
Sonic ran at top speed through the city streets, his destination being the Nintendo headquarters. That’s where every one was set to catch the bus to the stadium where the Super Smash tournament was being held. Sonic had over slept and was running late, “There it is!” he yelled in glee putting on the brakes creating a resounding “screech” as the soles of his shoes slid along the ground. When the dust cleared he saw all of his fellow brawlers. His eyes fell first to his arch rival, Mario, who looked angry. His stubby arms were folded over his chest and he was muttering something. Princess Peach said something back, Sonic couldn’t hear but judging by her hand movements, she was giving a lecture. She looked up from Mario, saw Sonic, smiled and waved to him. He smiled and waved back. He liked Princess Peach because she was nice and always thought of others. She was also an important person when it came to getting Sonic and Mario to stop beating the shit out of each other. Sonic scanned the crowd of fighters till his eyes fell on Shadow whose smirk grew by a good few centimetres when he spotted the other hedgehog. Shadow was in his usual attire, nothing but gloves and shoes. He had a single strap, black backpack with his symbol and the words “All Hail Shadow” embossed on the back of it. By his side, on the ground lay a sports bag. Sonic, for his part, had similar luggage with a blue, duffel bag that hung near his left hip when he had it on. It had the word SonicX and a picture of himself on it. He also had a sports bag but his was a dark blue and was a bit smaller. (Probably because he didn’t have a AK 47, two pistols, a machine gun, a sniper rifle, a rapier, a Grenade launcher and a Backsword not to mention a variety of throwing knives and daggers)Sonic walked over to shadow and greeted him, shadow gave an annoyed grunt as response. Sonic plopped his bag down beside Shadow’s and sat on the ground near it. Despite Shadows animosity sonic felt safer next to the bio hog. Most of the fighters he’d herd about but never met before, and the general air of competition made making friends dangerous. at least he’d know what to expect from his shadow. 5 minutes later a vary large Greyhound bus stopped where the brawlers were waiting, an attendant got out and did a role call. When the attendant got to Shadows name, he gave a growl which the attendant ignored for quite a few of the fighters didn’t speak English. sonic answered her call with a “yo!” and a wave. She gave him a smile and moved on. After it was conformed that everyone was there they got on the bus. Shadow and Sonic were one of the last to board. So they took the front most seats on the left side. Shadow next to the window sonic beside him across from them were

Samus and Pit behind them. Kirby and Jingly Puff. Behind them, Luigi and Peach, she was still cross with Mario so he sat behind her next to Yoshi. Zelda and Link sat behind him with young link on her lap. Link was giving his smaller counterpart dirty looks while Zelda played with his hair and cooed over how cute he was. Next the Pokemon Trainer had a seat to himself due to nobody wanting to sit near him so he had Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard swished in next to him. Lucario and Pikachu were already deep in conversation. (I think I don’t speak pokemon) and the last two sets of seats on the left side had King Dedede, Mr. Game and Watch, Wolf and Meta Knight in them. on the right side behind Samus and Pit we have Popo and Nana, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, Fox and Falco, Snake and R.O.B, Ganondorf and Bowser, Ike and Marth, Wario and captain falcon, and last but not least ness and Lucas

Once everyone was settled the attendant stood at the front and spoke to the group “ok every one this bus is going to take you to Super Smash Brothers Brawl stadium. The trip is around 23 hours. The location is remote so later on it’s going to be a bumpy ride. When you get there you will be given your room assignments. You will have time to get comfortable then you will be needed for the opening ceremonies at 7:00, I suggest you have a nap before the opening ceremonies because you’re not going to get much sleep tonight. This is your bus driver Sybil valentine.” A young woman stood from the driver’s seat and waved to her passengers as the attendant traipsed off the bus. Sybil closed the door.
Shadow sat back as the bus roared into life. Pulling his mp3 player out of the pocket located on the front of the strap on his backpack, and removing some headphones from the mane pocket. The headphones were noise-cancelling. Sonic on the other hand grabbed his DS light and ear buds from his backpack, plugging them in and turning it on. Shadow leaned against the window looking out it, Headphones doing there job. He looked over momentarily to see what game sonic was playing, It was Sonic Rush. He should have known.
8:00 pm still on the bus
Sonic flipped down the cover of his blue DS “done!” he said haply. He looked over to Shadow, who hadn’t moved sense dinner. {I wonder if he’s sleeping} Sonic thought. He leaned in close to Shadow to get a better idea of whether or not he was. Shadow felt breath on his cheek and turned his head to confront whoever had decided to invade his space unfortunately Sonic had leaned so far in, that when shadow turned his head there lips met. Sonic was taken by surprise and Shadow was half asleep, so it was a good 10 seconds before they realised what just happened and sprang apart. Both looked at each other stunned, then around to see if anyone saw, luckily no one did. Both settled down again not wanting to look the other in the face. Sonic ran his tong over his lips, still tasting ultimate life form. As much as he hated to admit it he tasted good. Sonic bit his lip lost as to what to say. Shadow was taken aback, not sure what bugged him more. The fact that he just had his first kiss with Sonic the Hedgehog, or the fact that he’d liked it. In the end neither one had the courage to say anything, so shadow slipped his headphones back on and sonic pulled out his DS again. But Shadow barely herd the music for he was deep in thought, and sonic kept dying because he couldn’t keep his concentration.
6:00 am, morning still on bus
Samus was the first to wake. Do to years of space travel she was accustomed to sleeping on bumpy rides. Her eyelids fluttered open and she checked her watch, it was exactly 6 hundred hours. (Military time) she looked down to see that one of Pit’s wings had stretched out and was lying on her chest, she rolled her eyes folding it back into place. she stood up in front of her seat and stretched. Looking over to the seat opposite her ware sonic and shadow were sleeping and a smile split her lips. The two hedgehogs were cuddled together. Shadow leaning against the window, sonic lying on his chest. shadows arms were around sonic, hands resting on his behind. fingers unconsciously playing with his tail. Samus chuckled to herself pulling a camera out of her own bag and snapping some pictures before going to tell Zelda and peach.
6:30 uh oh
Shadow woke up with a start when he realised something was leaning on him. He opened his eyes to see the blue speedster cuddled on his chest. Which he wouldn’t have minded too much, if it weren’t for the fact that half the fighters had got out of there seats and were now staring at them, especially the girls. Samus was still taking pictures. Shadow blushed deeply when he realized ware his hands were. He lifted them off Sonic and pushed him off, growling at the crowd of spectators “GO AWAY!” His tone was such that no one argued as the scrambled back to there seats, not even Bowser. (Why was he looking anyway?) Sonic woke up with a bump when shadow pushed him off. “ow.. what happened” groaned sonic. “This” Samus giggled as she leaned over to show sonic the pictures on her digital camera. Sonic went white when he saw how they fell asleep. {Shadow was stroking my but!} thought Sonic he looked to Shadow who seamed to be asleep again arms crossed. Sonic sighed inwardly and rested his head on his hand. {what is going on between Shadow and me?} he found it to be an unanswerable question.
8:02 time to debus (actually a word)
One advantage of sitting at the front was being the first to get off, Sonic bounced off the bus closely followed by Shadow. Sonic threw his arms in the air and stretched, giving a satisfied “ahh” as his back cracked. Shadow found his self staring fixedly as Sonic stretched full body. Muscles rippling as he worked out the kinks. {dammit he’s hot} thought Shadow. Sonic relaxed and opened his eyes. Shadow stopped staring just a few seconds to late to not get seen by Sonic. {Why was he staring like that?} thought Sonic as he followed Shadow to the cargo hold to pick up their sports bags. After collecting their luggage they were given the room assignments Shadow and Sonic were sharing. shadow grunted he was not surprised. It only made sense, he and sonic were both male hedgehogs and Sega characters, although he was curious about one thing. “Where is Silver sleeping?” he asked “Silver is in the same complex as the other assist trophies.” replied the official. “Poor Silver, some of the trophies looked kinda mean. I hope he’s ok.” said Sonic walking off to the brawlers quarters with Shadow.

Silver sat on the couch in the mane room with a Nintendog on his lap. Laughing as it licked at his face. Barbara was playing guitar hero on the big screen facing the couch. Gray Fox, Samurai Goroh, Saki Amamiya, Kat, Ana and Lyn were all having a sword fight in the training field. Andross and Isaac were having a slap fight. Infantry and Tanks, Excitebike and Lakitu were complaining that they didn’t get a new graphic overhaul and were still flat. Mr. Resetti wouldn’t shut up and Helirin just sat there.

I don’t know how to use , I hope you like it any way I am kinda proud of this but harsh criticism is wanted for if your not blunt and sacrifice I am not going to get better
