Now, aside from the massive spaces between paragraphs/lines, this isn't bad. But I would suggest that you stop quadruple spacing. It's unnessecary waste of space. As for your lack of a beta reader, I would be happy to help. Once I figure out how to get my profile to actually save, that is. Wow, this story is... addicting... interesting... brilliant... and, well, other pleasant, polysyllabic words that serve to praise and flatter!
Great dialogue, fluid structure, a few minor grammar mistakes here and there, but nothing to go crazy over--a solid, [un]original villain that you just love to hate--an intriguing and humorous story that sucks you in mercilessly--and, of course, soon-to-be Sonadow awesomeness--yup, this story has it all. And it's only the beginning!
Oh, and I like the chapter titles' whole video game menu screen theme. Can't wait for the next update!

...well...that was very different. I don't see many non-newbs going so far as to bring ppl like Mary-Sue into Sonic fanfics no more....I have my reservations, but I'll wait till the Sonadow starts to really judge.
Author's Response:;) I assure you I won't disappoint. I typically hate OC's with a passion of a thousand burning suns, so when I throw in a character that is literally named 'Mary-Sue,' it's all for a purpose. The focus has, and always been Sonadow. I wanted to try an old idea with a new spin.

I just have one problem with this story. Well, actually, two, but there's one big one. Who is really still a fan of Sonic anymore? I thought everyone had joined Shadow's fanbase. No offense, Sonic, but... when was the last even halfway decent game you were in? My point.
As for the second problem, well, that's simple. It's not done! WRITE MORE! I MUST HAVE MORE! OR I'LL PUT YOU IN A HORRIBLE FANFIC FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH MARY-SUES, GARY-STUES, AND OCs ABOUD!

Alright, just so you know, I probably didn't read half the story, and I skimmed over the rest.
But on this alone, I can easily say that I'm liking the look of this fic. It walks a very fine line between parody and actual story, and it does it very well. As far as I could tell, you did the characters well, especially Mary Sue... Great work on that, by the way. Made me smile. You should definitely continue this, it's really, really good!
